Once you confirm the code, the App will establish the connection and to verify the same you can go to the phone's notification menu and see if there is an Open Fit notification showing the Gear Fit connected. The Samsung Gear Fit will generate a unique code and ask you to confirm the passkey on the Open Fit App. At the same time, you will get a pop up for Bluetooth pairing request with the passkey on your phone. After that, select the 'Connect' option from the Open Fit App's home screen.

Then tap on 'Show Devices' and select 'Gear Fit (5105)' from the list of the devices. To connect the Open Fit App with the Samsung Gear Fit, first turn on Bluetooth and select 'Scan' for the App to find the Gear Fit. Select 'Open Fit' to turn on Notification Access. Once the Open Fit App is installed and opened, it will prompt you for Notification Access.

To see how the Samsung Gear Fit is supported by non-Samsung phones like the Redmi Note 3, you will need the third-party Open Fit App since the Gear Fit Manager won't be compatible with other non-Samsung devices. The Open Fit App can be downloaded for free through the Google Play Store.
